Saturday run and ride

It was a very nice exercise day — I ran for 35 minutes this morning — my “long” run! Woo-hoo. But still, it’s the longest I’ve run probably since High School. Since 10th grade in High School when I got mono and had to quit the track team. It felt fine, and my foot didn’t hurt while running, although afterward it got a little sore. I’m not sure what’s going on, but it looks like I can simply keep doing what I’ve been doing and wait it out. HR: 150.

This afternoon I rode for an hour or so, a little over 16 miles. I worked on pedaling fast, and am unhappy with how quickly I begin to bounce around on the saddle. My cadence monitor isn’t working so I don’t know how fast I was pedaling, but I suspect it wasn’t all that fast. I’d like to work on this more. HR: 146.
